Ipswich Market
Ipswich has had a town centre Farmer's Market for over 700 years, with the first market on the Cornhill trading from 1317.
The Ipswich Market sits next to the iconic Corn Exchange and Town Hall, selling fresh fruit and vegetables, freshly caught fish, crab and seafood, locally grown and cut flowers and a collection of stalls selling Suffolk chutneys, jams, sauces and drinks. There are sometimes other stalls selling clothes and handy household goods.
The Market comes to Ipswich every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Food Quarter
Started in 2017, Giles Circus and Queens Street is now home to a vibrant group of street food vendors with exciting and delicious flavours.
There really is something for everyone! TFI Vegan serves delicious vegan burgers and treats that you'd never guess were animal-free. The Latin Table brings tasty burritos and quesadillas with buckets of flavour and fillings. The Ipswich Bagel Company offers a huge range of traditional New York style bagels. Ipswich Farmer's Market
Coming back onto the Cornhill Square in 2019, Suffolk Market Events are bringing a traditional farmer's market to the town centre with fresh Suffolk produce.
A monthly market with different stall holders each time, the Ipswich Farmer's Market hosts a range of products and produce from local farmers and makers including free-range meats, organic vegetables, handmade baked goods along with artisan olive oils, chutneys, jams, sweets and lots more.

The Saints Artisan & Craft Markets
Independent shops, cafes and restaurants along St Peters Street and St Nicholas Street regularly team-up as 'The Saints' to create unique, indie markets.
Popular for it's independent shops and places to eat, The Saints is the place to go in Ipswich for unique gifts, food made with heart, beautiful homewares and wonderful art, fashion and homewares from local crafters and makers. The Saints businesses regularly get together to create Artisan Markets over the summer months and throughout the winter.
