St Margaret's is a fine medieval Church in town dating from 1300 with the tower added in c.1400 and other parts in 1450. Donations from over the years have made St Margaret's fascinating, with numerous interesting artefacts. The C15 double hammer beam roof, decorated on 1695, is the crowning glory.
